Over his 34 years in business, Joe has worked as a retail loan officer, branch manager, head of training for a national mortgage company, VP of National Production, and even occupied the “C-Suite” as the Chief Operating Officer of a well-known firm.
He has an extensive track record on both the retail and wholesale sides of the business, gaining invaluable experience with Land Home Financial Services, First Cal, Western Bancorp, Merrill Lynch and First Franklin Financial, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and World Savings and Loan.

Looking at Joe’s upbringing in a working-class home on the East Coast, it’s not hard to see where he developed that mentality, as his widowed mother early-on taught him the value of hard work. He went on to earn a degree in education and taught second grade.
Joe enjoys rolling up his sleeves every day, solving problems, rising to challenges, and helping others maximize their potential. Instead of being driven by money in an industry known for its handsome paychecks, he maintains a passion for helping others around him.

Joe now calls San Diego home, where he’s happily married to his wonderful, supportive husband. Together they have a blended family with two sons each and two grandchildren. When not working, he recharges the batteries with travel, good wine, good food, and putting a whole lot of miles on his cycle to work it all off.
