I have always had a passion for real estate investing, which led my Fiancé and I to buy a duplex as our first property instead of a single-family home. We purchased the duplex with a FHA loan and lived on one side, while renting out the other side. We then used the equity in the duplex to buy a Cabin in Packwood that we rent as a short term rental on Airbnb. Then we purchase a single-family home for ourselves. During my 13 years in auto lending and business development I realized most people were not taught financial literacy and therefore make poor financial decisions throughout life. I became a mortgage loan officer so I can help educate people how to build generational wealth through real estate.
